Check out the complete list!

New series West Lake and Aztec Springs lead the pack of nominations for the restructured 2010 APA Awards. WL, which premiered in August of 2009, was nominated a total of seventeen times, including Best New Series and Best Couple nods for super duos Jake and Vanessa and Tyler and Callie. Kelly Zollo, author of West Lake, had this to say of her nominations: "I am very humbled to have received the nominations that I did this year for the awards. I have always thought of the AP community and it's writers as a group that strives to achieve and embrace different serials on the web, encouraging each other and putting their hearts into the community to it's fullest. Being a part of that group has always been an honor and to have my work recognized by a body of peers, is an honor in and of it's self. Something I am completely humbled by, as a writer."

Aztec Springs, the newest series on the AP roster, also cleaned up its first time in competition, ranking a total of fourteen nominations. Best New Series, Leading Female for Rowan, Leading Male for Brian and a couple of Villain nods (Camryn and Anthony) - only to name a few. Rookie producer Chris Coleman reports being “shocked! I went into websoaps kind of blind not knowing much. To be nominated in 14 categories my freshmen year is a honor! I thank everyone who voted for me. Win or lose, I feel already like I've won by accomplishing this."

Rounding out the nominations on the AP side of things are mystery soap Independence Day, which picked up 12 nominations, including Best New Series and Leading Male for both Evan and Jeff. Bex Spencer Aaron, author and producer of Independence Day, was proud of her accomplishment, but more hopeful for others than herself. “Ty and Kelly and Chris had amazing years and produced some amazing material. I’m just glad I could be a part of this and could have the opportunity to join their ranks for what is sure to be a very memorable awards!"

Mysteries of Our Lives, a veteran of AP, racked up 10 nominations, including Best Episode (316) and two Supporting Female nods (Dana and Vanessa). Ty Junior, producer of Mysteries and the president of AP, sums it up: “The competition is quite fierce this year. I am thrilled to be in the final nomination phase, and wish all those contending the best of luck."

This year's Favorite Non-AP Series contained a few surprises, with two series hosted by Jay Edwards, a former member of AP. Perennial favorite Footprints, riveting The Blackthornes and former AP featured series All or Nothing rounded out the competition.

The members of AP are still deliberating on when the awards gala will be held, but reports suggest sometime in the early part of 2011.
